The Garnier shine-control moisturizer that will ensure your face doesn’t melt off in the heat

Need to touch up your makeup? Don’t worry about locating a mirror, you can probably just use my forehead. While many people like to call this weather “summer” I prefer the more accurate description of “hell.” The heavy air, constant rain and brutal humidity tends to leave my skin ultra-greasy and my purse full of oil-blotting papers.

A few weeks ago, on a particularly disgusting day, I slipped into a drugstore and vowed to buy the first shine-control product I found (patiently awaiting my “Beauty Editor of the Century” award) and it happened to be Garnier Skin Naturals Pure ACTIVE Shine Control Moisturizer. And thank god it was. This moisturizer has not left my sight since. The white clay and zinc create a matte effect on my skin, while the salicylic acid hydrates. Overall, it leaves my skin feeling cool and refreshed and, duh, not shiny.
