Drew Barrymore’s makeup line Flower Beauty just launched in Canada and it’s crazy-impressive

Often when a celebrity launches a makeup line, it’s either a) a big pile of “meh” or b) a pretty small selection of products. Well, we’re pleased to announce that Drew Barrymore‘s line Flower Beauty is neither of those things. The star’s collection launched in the U.S in March 2013 and after a year and a half of hearing only great things, it finally made its way north of the border last week. We attended the Canadian launch at the Thompson Hotel and were blown away as soon as we walked into a room full of tables and tables covered in products. Tables! Covered! In! (Just kidding; you get the point).

Flower, which is is available at Walmart and Walmart.ca, is made up of 64 different products—not counting shade options. For instance, the High-Shine Lip Color lipstick comes in 18 (!!!) different shades. If you take into account all of the colours available, you’re looking at over 170 products to choose from. How’s that for a not-so-typical celeb makeup collection?

The standout product has to be that amazing Eye 2 Eye Eye Marker and Mascara. With mascara on one end and liquid liner on the other, it’s obviously convenient and portable, but let’s talk about that marker. As liquid liner freaks (tried everything out there, promise) this one really stood out. It looks like a Sharpie, which, yes can be a little disconcerting as you approach your eye but YOLO! Just kidding, it’s totally safe, relax. It’s seriously easy to use and oh my god, it does not budge.
