Adding some glitter to your beauty look this holiday season is just one of the many ways to get into the festive spirit. In four easy steps, bold glittery lips, taken straight from the Rodarte Fall 2014 runway, can be your fun New Year’s Eve look.

Since this bold look focuses mainly on a statement lip, stick to neutrals for the rest of your face as to not overpower the ultra-glittery lip. A nice, luminous base, enhanced with bronzer helps keep the face looking fresh and flawless while the matte eyeshadow creates depth without looking too overdone.

Step 1:

Once your base is done, pat a matte medium brown eye shadow onto the lid focusing on the crease and outer “v” and blend well.

Step 2:

Apply two coats of lengthening black mascara, don’t forget the bottom lashes too!

Step 3:

With a lip brush, apply a light plum coloured lipstick.

Dab on some illuminator or eye shadow primer in a shimmery pale pink with your finger and blend with lip brush.

If you have issues finding a lipstick that is shimmery enough for this look, you can easily concoct your own colour by layering lipstick with either an illuminator, eye shadow primer, eye shadow, or loose glitter.
