The Dior Spring 2015 Couture show hops on the BDSM train with fetish-inspired hair
Fifty Shades of Grey fever must be reaching its boiling point, with the film’s release only a couple of weeks away, because at yesterday’s Dior Spring 2015 Couture show, hairstylist and Redken creative consultant Guido Palau debuted a ponytail that made us do a double (okay, triple) take.
The ‘do featured interlocking plexiglass rings that were looped with synthetic hair extensions, and then latched onto the models’ real hair, which was tied into a mini loop. Palau described the look as “new wave” and “fetish” on his Instagram page.
Does this mean hair extensions are back?
