Today is the first day of spring, Pisces season is over, and regular life can finally resume following the depths of horror that is the first quarter of the new year (has anyone kept up with their New Year’s resolutions, by the way?).
To celebrate the beginning of a new season, we’re consulting the stars to decide which new celebrity-inspired ‘do to try out. Click through to find out your Spring 2015 hair horoscope and get snipping/highlighting/bleaching.
Aries
One of the most extreme, dramatic signs of the zodiac (sorry, but it’s true), Aries are not into subtlety. Bigger is always better for this fire sign, but for Spring 2015, it’s time to learn why other people think this “less is more” thing is valid. Or at least try.
What could be more subtle than Rihanna’s gorgeous ballerina bun from the 2015 Grammys?
Taurus
Taurus is a sign that loves lavish, opulent glamour. Diamonds and blowouts are usually more your thing, but this season, why not experiment with something totally out of your comfort zone?
We suggest: Katy Perry‘s lavender locks. Obviously still very pretty and eye-catching, but in a way that you’re probably not used to. Yolo!
Gemini
Geminis are the slick talkers of the zodiac, and their wit is pretty unparalleled, keeping people constantly on their toes. Keep that unpredictable streak going with a shade that people won’t be able to put their finger on, like Zosia Mamet‘s pretty shade. It’s not quite blonde, not quite grey, and not quite rose…but is kind of all of the above.
Cancer
If there’s one sign that hates doing anything outside of their comfort zone, it’s Cancer. That’s why for Spring 2015, we’re suggesting you get the mother of all hair changes: bangs. Go for blunt, wispy like Dakota Johnson‘s, or even go all out and opt for the micro bang trend (we know you won’t). Trust us, you won’t regret it. (Okay, you might, but you’ll look great, and that’s all that matters.)
Leo
Leo, you’re daring, bold and adventurous. As you’re reading this, your hair is probably already very fun and not at all boring. But since there’s always room for improvement, your Spring 2015 look should be modelled after Scarlett Johansson‘s Oscars look: shaved sides. There’s no better time to do it than when the weather warms up, after all.
Virgo
A couple of weeks ago, Lorde debuted a new-ish look at Paris Fashion Week. We say new-ish because she hadn’t actually cut or dyed her hair—she’d just curled it differently. Rather than sporting her natural tight curls (which we love), she wore pretty, loose ringlets that showed off a softer side of the singer. And that’s just what you need, Virgo. A romantic hairdo is just the thing for you in Spring 2015.
Libra
In case you hadn’t heard, celebrities are fans of lobs. Naomi Watts showed off a gorgeous version at the Oscars—loose waves, asymmetrical and low-maintenance. This look is about as likeable and popular as, well, you. The social butterfly of the zodiac, this easy-to-maintain ‘do is a great way to freshen up your look this season.
Scorpio
Well, we know you were waiting to see who got this one. Scorpio, Kim‘s platinum blonde locks are all yours. Is there anyone who defines IDGAF more than you? No, there is not. If you’re already blonde and you’re rolling your eyes at this, go jet-black. Do the opposite of what’s “normal” to you. You’ll adapt to it in no time.
Sagittarius
The world’s most famous ponytail for the world’s most restless sign. Sagittarius, Spring 2015 is the perfect time to get more playful with your hair and try out Ariana Grande’s high ponytail. We know you’ve been thinking about it. Besides, won’t it be nice to get all that hair out of your face and look more put-together than usual?
Capricorn
Capricorns are a reserved bunch, so we’re not going to suggest anything too out there. No shaved sides or hair bleaching for you. Instead, hop on board with one of the biggest hair trends of the past few seasons: wet hair. Whether you want to go for a subtle version like Hailee Steinfeld‘s slicked back ‘do, or go all out with, well, drenched hair, the world is your oyster: wet and kind of slimy.

A shaggy haircut isn’t easy to pull off—at all. But if anyone can do it, it’s you, Aquarius. The artist of the zodiac, you’re creative enough to make this work for you, so go for it this season! Spring 2015 is all about taking chances, so follow Freja Beha Erichsen‘s lead and start haphazardly chopping.
Pisces
Earlier this year, we talked about how highlights are making a surprising comeback, and now that we’ve had some time to let the trend settle in, we’re actually sort of into it. And who better to ring in the resurgence of streaks than the dreamer of the zodiac: Pisces. Take a cue from Jennifer Lopez and add some colour to your locks for Spring 2015.
