Lower lash lines are seriously having a moment lately, which is not a sentence we’d expect to get us so excited, but alas, here we are. Continuing the trend seen during New York Fashion Week at Rodarte, Ohne Titel and Victoria Beckham, the Mary Katrantzou Fall 2015 show saw lower lashes once again being the main focus of the face. Models wore a blunt wedge of black liner and just a chunk of false lashes on the centre of their lower lash line.

Almost like a hybrid of the looks we saw at Altuzarra and Rochas Spring 2015, makeup artist Val Garland created the look by drawing a rectangular outline underneath lower lash lines with a liquid liner, then filled it in with black shadow and topped it off with a chunk of false lashes that were flat-ironed (!) and shortened, for a doll-like effect that’s carried over from last season.
