Vancouver Notes: Sunja Link

Photography by Mia Cunningham

Fashion buyers across Canada can’t say enough about the landmark fall collection from Vancouver designer Sunja Link (sunjalink.com). Feminine but not feminist, organic-feeling but not crunchy, vintage-inspired yet modern, the line blends shapely Victorian silhouettes with 1970s sensibilities, such as a navy dress with leg-of-mutton sleeves, a girlie plaid-mix blouse ($105) and a dusty rose velvet jumper with brass-button detailing. At The Block (350 W. Cordova St., 604-685-8885, theblock.ca) and Eugene Choo (3683 Main St., 604-873-8874, eugenechoo.com).
