Sun, Sand and Sea

Three products that bring summer into the office.

Who isn’t romanced by the sweet smells that remind us of summer? Whether they’re of warm, breezy afternoons, tropical blooms or suntan oil, one whiff and we’re barefoot, reclining on a lounge chair in front of crystal blue water—even if in reality we’re stuck at a keyboard. That’s why items that come across our desks, such as Banana Republic Scented Candle ($28, at Banana Republic) in “Beach House,” Bobbi Brown Beach Sandbar Exfoliating Soap ($20, at Holt Renfrew) and Comptoir Sud Pacifique Coco Extreme ($59, at select Shoppers Drug Mart stores), are sniffed hundreds of times daily—if only as a reminder of how badly we need some time off.
