We may have fond memories of our youth in the 1980s, but you would never catch us embracing shoulder pads or stirrup pants again. That doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the nod made to the decade’s excessive fashions imprinted on Yves Saint Laurent Palette Esprit Couture Collector Powder for Eyes and Complexion ($65, at Holt Renfrew). Featuring the back of a model wearing an evening gown from the house’s Fall 1983 collection, it even stays unblemished throughout its use due to a unique design technique. So really, the ’80s will truly never die.
