While there isn’t any pumping iron involved, the L’Oréal Paris Skin Genesis range ($30 each, at drugstores) claims to strengthen skin, offsetting the weakening that it goes through in your 30s. To do that, the company’s latest patented molecule, Pro-Xylane, is combined with hyaluronic spheres, enabling the dermis to hold on to loads of water, essential for plumping the skin and reinforcing its tissues. Think of it as eating your veggies and getting your cardio. “You put your body in its best possible position when you work out, so from a health point of view, you’re helping to optimize skin function,” says Dr. Lydia Evans, consulting dermatologist to L’Oréal Paris.
