Edmonton Notes: Sessa

The ultimate first-date collection.

Dressing for a first date can be an ordeal in itself, so thank goodness for Sessa’s “ultimate first-date collection.” Designer Tressa Heckbert—Sessa was her nickname—wanted to evoke a sense of “flirtatious modesty” with her line of neutral-coloured skirts and tops, accented with bright turquoise, peach, yellow and coral. Heckbert’s signature piece is the embellished mini-vest ($50, at Bamboo Ballroom, 8206 104 St., 780-439-1363).
