John Frieda has something no other mass hair brand can claim: a full house of experts that includes some of the industry’s highest-profile stylists. Frieda started this roster when he became so busy developing the business, he decided he needed to hand off creative leadership. “They are involved in every aspect,” explains Frieda, “from brainstorming the next product and testing the formulas to giving feedback on performance and promoting the products.” Harry Josh, who is signed as an international creative consultant—and known as the man behind Gisele’s tumbling, sun-kissed mane—is currently testing lab samples for products launching in 2011. New to the family is Luigi Murenu, who Frieda says he’s been after for the past seven years. “Luigi is one of the most gifted and talented stylists in the world. He’s been a fan of the products for years, and will be using them at all his shoots and shows.”
