Shiseido artistic director Dick Page translates photographs he's shot around the globe into eyeshadow.

Opera

What drew Page to this photo, taken from the roof of the Opera Garnier in Paris, was “the idea of the gold and the bronze tones saturated against the blue sky.” Calling the combination “chic and kind of discreet,” he says he wanted to “reclaim the idea of blue eyeshadow, because it can be a bit trashy, a bit teenage, a bit waitress-y.”
