FUZZ OFF
Until you pack away your city shorts, you’ll have to suffer through hair removal procedures. Now there’s a high-tech option that claims to be virtually painless. PPx Therapy (legs from $400 per treatment, 800-668-5236) uses a nozzle that draws up your skin, which gets “the light closer to the follicle and means you need less energy,” explains Meranda Ruberto of Vanishair Laser Clinic in Mississauga, Ontario. The laser’s lower frequency is why there’s so little discomfort. You need about six treatments to see results, and it works on all skin tones. If you still prefer DIY options, consider Parissa 2 in 1 Roll-on ($17, at drugstores), a nifty roller gadget that dispenses a sugar-based wax, Veet In-Shower Hair Removal Cream ($9, at drugstores), which repels water so it has time to work before you sponge it away, or Schick Quattro for Women ($12, at drugstores), which features four blades coated with diamonds to keep them sharper longer.
