Behind the shoot: Kreesha Turner

The R&B star goes Donna Summer-meets-Old Hollywood for our cover shoot.

Kreesha Turner was an absolute pleasure to work with,” recalls photographer Miguel Jacob. “I was first introduced to her last season, prior to the Greta Constantine Fall 2008 show. She was wearing a Greta gown and she looked stunning—very similar to a movie star from the golden era of Hollywood. She has an amazing face with an equally great figure. To top it all off, she has a lovely disposition and a charming personality. It was from this initial meeting that I decided to use very directional and hard lighting in the spirit of George Hurrell.”
