Clever, humourous product names are nothing new—Benefit pretty much built their following on it (and it’s half the reason we can’t wait to see what they come out with next). But with so much seriousness taken in beauty, we never tire of seeing a product take the piss out of lofty claims like plumping and slimming.
A dose of just that kind of cheekiness is coming to a Shoppers Drug Mart near you with this week’s launch of British body line Soap & Glory (from $10). Housed in bubble gum pink packaging, and featuring English tabloid-inspired text pasted (World exclusive! Lip size found crucial for sexual attraction!) over 1940s-looking glamour shots, the line injects your local pharmacy’s ho-hum bath and body section with the perfect dose of sass.
