Goody's TIFF rest stop
Posted on September 12, 2008
By Amanda Losier
An entire week filled with red carpets, parties, and movie screenings sounds wonderful, but the busy days and late nights can leave even the most devoted partiers feeling worn out. To provide an oasis to unwind, Goody has set up the IT Lounge at the Windsor Arms Hotel packed with everything to survive the Toronto International Film Festival.
My first stop was the media room, which is complete with snacks, drinks, computers with internet and a big screen television. They also have a “Wall of Heroes,” which features a giant board filled with pictures and autographs of all the celebrities that have stopped by during TIFF. The board will be auctioned off with proceeds going to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.
In the gift lounge, at I am invited by Goody and Look Hair Studio to have my locks styled. People have been stopping by to get coiffed before hitting the red carpet. The lounge is filled with swag from Goody’s new men’s line Ace, plus Esprit, Cookie and Joe, The Right Hand Gal, Teva, Ripzone and Powder Room. Fila is promoting their new T-shirt line, F-Word collection by Fila. The F-word I chose is “fashionista,” naturally. Olay Definity displays their new anti-aging line great for creating luminous red carpet skin. Overall I am quite impressed with the amenities provided at the IT lounge. This is a great place to relax and prepare for more film fest adventures.

That dress she has on works like camouflage with that background - she is so photogenic, what a shame!
