I’ve spent the morning wandering around all the shops near my hotel (think: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry) and the independent boutiques down in the old medieval city. I’ll let you in on my finds soon (i.e., when I can get my pictures off my camera!).
All this digging got me thinking about Reporter Search. I love uncovering new shops everywhere I go or finding something fabulous in an unexpected place. Most important, I love telling other people about it—especially our fashion market ed, Sarah Casselman (though she usually knows already). For this search, we’re looking for 10 people just like us: people who live to shop and can’t shut up about it when they find something great.
In that vein, we’ve gotten some e-mails asking us what we’re looking for in the entries. Rather than tell you what to write, here instead is how to enter FASHION Magazine’s fabulous Reporter Search in eight easy steps.
1. Go shopping.
2. Find a shop: a new shop, your favourite shop, etc.
3. Locate a cool item: something chic, something unexpected, something beautiful—whatever strikes you.
4. If you can, take a picture of your find.
5. Go home and head to fashionmagazine.com.
6. Tell us about the shop and the great find you uncovered in 50 to 100 words.
7. Upload a photo of yourself and your photo of the item.
8. Do this all by June 1!

Barcelonaaaaa! I'm so green right now. Can't wait to see pics and hear some juicy stories when you return. As for me, I'm searcing for that special little find that I'll include in my Reporter Search application! We now only have less than a month to enter! My how time flies..
