Celeb Spy: It's getting hot in here

As summer heats up, so does celeb-spotting season.
Hilary Swank and Amelia co-star Ewan McGregor were filming at the Carlu on College Street one lovely Sunday afternoon. The film, based on the life of Amelia Earhart who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937, also stars Richard Gere and Virginia Madsen and is being directed by Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding).
Following a sell-out concert at the Molson Amphitheatre, Circa nightclub on John Street hosted an after event for the "Glow in the Dark Tour." Rihanna and beau Chris Brown were spotted along with rappers Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West and N.E.R.D boys Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams.
Canadian designer Joeffer Caoc, with two model-type beauties, enjoyed a meal at new hot spot Spice Route on King West.
The biggest party in Canada is less than two weeks away. This year’s MuchMusic Video Awards takes place on Sunday, June 15, and will feature appearances by Rihanna, Flo Rida, Hedley, America’s Best Dance Crew winner’s JabbaWockeeZ, Kardinal Offishall featuring Akon and Girlicious. And those are just some of the performers! Red carpet starts at 8pm, and this fashionable girl will be back stage and at all the parties to give you all the deets.
