Toronto Fashion Week: Day four

Until next time!

As Fashion Week Fall 2008 came to an end, there was still some celebrating to be done. Thursday night’s festivities were in full swing by the time we ventured out. A brief stop at Ultra Supper Club for Paul Hardy and Travel Alberta’s pre-show cocktail (and some yummy baby kobe burgers) and we were off to the tents.
After the official runway shows ended, we headed over to Tattoo Rock Parlour, where we spotted Cosmo TV correspondent Wilder Weir attending an avant-garde, off-site show by Pink Cobra. Instead of walking down a runway, models stalked onto the stage and stood on turntable-style revolving pedestals while striking a pose. The highlight of our night was when we were served by new bartender (and former I Mother Earth lead singer!) Edwin. We then jumped into a cab and made our way to C Lounge, where Pageant Place’s Tara Conner hosted the closing-night bash. After some dancing and cocktails, it was time to meet up with some of my girls for a bit of non-Fashion-Week-sanctioned fun. Then I got some beauty sleep and prepped for Saturday night’s funky, fantastic Chromeo show at The Opera House. Geek chic was all the rage that night, as the boys put on an energetic show. Time to get back to my day job…I hope Fashion Week Spring 2009 will be just as fun!
