Once you get these bouncy tracks in your head, you’re a goner. This über-cool Paris duo (a.k.a. Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé) have been cheerily tearing up dance floors in Europe with their unique mix of electronic pop mashed up with a very hearty splash of disco and an undercurrent of techno.
Now, with their debut CD hitting North American shores, you don’t have to be a French art school student to hear them. With everything from the infectious fun of tracks like “D.A.N.C.E”—featuring a London children’s choir—to the heavier 3 a.m. sounds of “Phantom” and “Phantom Pt. 2”—this party is all yours, baby.
