Some People Have Real Problems by Sia
Having shot to cult fame with her goosebump-raising single “Breathe Me” on the last episode of Six Feet Under, Sia is back with a full-length album full of quirky lyrics meshed with lush arrangements.
The Australian torch singer has turned out an album full of mostly down tempo jazz-infused pop that is afternoon coffee friendly—appropriate since Hear Music is the label that distributes artists at Starbucks. A guest appearance from indie superstar Beck on the witty “Academia” and the sweet sadness of tracks like “Little Black Sandals,” plus Sia's always pretty voice should soothe naysayers who don’t like anyone whose albums are sold alongside lattes.
