A while ago, I had the opportunity to meet Jason Hoffman, a principal makeup artist for Shu Uemura, who showed me the 25th Boutique Birthday collection, which commemorates the silver anniversary of the first Shu Uemura store in Tokyo.

A few weekends ago, I had the pleasure of flying to Tofino with a few of my favourite media friends to attend Roxy Surf Camp (roxy.com/surfcamps) with Catherine Bruhwiler (bruhwilersurf.com), one of Canada’s most fabulously talented female surfers.
