Whistler wine weekend
Posted on November 19, 2008
Although I’ve lived in Vancouver now for nearly six years, I had never experienced Whistler Cornucopia (whistlercornucopia.com), a food and wine festival that, for the past 12 years, has offered foodies the opportunity to schmooze, eat plenty of delicious food, and learn from acclaimed chefs, vintners, restaurateurs and sommeliers. Two weeks ago, however, I got a last-minute invitation, and with a quick switch of outfits (I’d just arrived home from FASHION’s semi-annual editorial conference in Toronto, where it was a balmy 18 degrees), I was on the bus to Whistler! Here, a few highlights from the weekend.
