It’s rumoured that Taylor Lautner will be the next face of Armani fragrance and Armani Exchange. Nothing’s been confirmed, though the pairing does seem like a match made in shirtless, advertising heaven. [The Cut]

Scott Schuman may be working on a reality TV show. Schuman recently told the Pedestrian, “[T]here’s maybe a TV show coming up, maybe a clothing collection coming up. I was offered a lot of shows before, and I don’t think the companies were right that were asking me. But this company I think is right. It’s a very well known Director and all. Lady Gaga is a powerful force in both fashion and music–one that Black Book says could take on Anna Wintour in numbers alone—while the “Bad Romance” video has 30 million hits on YouTube, an issue of Vogue has a circulation of about 1.2 million copies. Racked’s recent reader’s choice poll of the best Photoshopped image of Gaga suggests the public’s obsession with her bizarre everything is here to stay. By the way, the Mona Lisa Gaga won with 44% of the vote. [Racked, Blackbook]

With the auction of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé’s items done and over with, their Paris duplex is next up for sale. With a garden and 5,400 square feet of space, the apartment is expected to sell for around $30 million. [WWD] Read more »

Daphne Guinness is the new face of Akris’ spring campaign. The off-the-wall fashionista will officially be tied to the new handbag collection launching in February. Chanel’s Paris-Shanghai collection opened with a video–an imagined alternate history where Coco Chanel takes her first trip to China. In a potentially controversial move, Karl Lagerfeld styled his actors, including models Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi, as Chinese characters in yellowface. Lagerfeld defended his decision because of its homage to old films like The Good Earth and Madame Butterfly where European actors played Asian characters, saying, “People around the world like to dress up as different nationalities.” [WWD]

Famed fashion photographer Sam Haskins, who launched his book Fashion Etcetera at Milk Studios earlier this year, died last week at the age of 83. Haskins had suffered two strokes this year, which set him into a depression that led to his suicide.  [WWD] Read more »
