Beauty
Sephora Store Event

By Sarah Hankins
Being that Sephora is my ultimate beauty haven, I was incredibly excited to attend a private event at their new Bloor Street location on February 27 with a $100 gift certificate in hand to use as my little heart desired. With six new locations opening by Summer 2008, there’s a lot to get excited about.
Shopping bag in hand, I set out to explore the shop’s vast array of perfumes, lipgloss, soaps, eyeshadows, skin care and more. And while doing so, was offered tasty hors d’oeuvres, from smoked salmon rolls and French pizza to drinks of freshly squeezed watermelon juice and champagne and strawberries.
Sufficiently satiated, I made my way to the cash register to ring in my two glorious products: the highly talked about philosophy hope in a jar and NARS blush in ‘Torrid.’ So imagine my surprise when, while walking out the door, I was gifted with a fantastic gift bag full of Sephora cosmetics, skincare travel bags and an eye mask, which I wore to bed that night and had sweet beauty-full dreams.
