The Wii Sports Resort collection
After the most dismal start to summer in recent memory, Wii Sports Resort ($60) has come just in time to remind us what it’s like to have fun in the sun. The old faves—bowling and golf—are back in this second installment of the party fave Wii Sports, made new and improved by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which improves accuracy (one comes with the game). There are also 10 never-seen-before activities. Archery, sword fighting, wakeboarding and cycling all make for a fun dose of hilarious pseudo-active competition. Go easy on your man, though: His fragile ego may not be able to take losing to you at dog Frisbee or basketball free shots.
