I have thick, and slightly coarse hair that i colour every month to cover my grey roots. All I can say, is it has tamed my frizz and smoothed every strand. I have not noticed any stripping of colour or even colour fading and i have spent a lot of time in the sun. As far as I know, this product does not have any ingredients in it that would make a person's hair go grey - maybe it was coincidental to your hair naturally sprouting some greys? The oil itself actually started to turn my hair grey and I don't even dye my hair. When I went back to the store that sold me the products, the manager told me that he was aware that this product my strip colour- treated hair and only carried the product because it was in high demand, not because he actually believed in the product.
