It’s beginning to smell a lot like Christmas with this minty candle

I have a challenging relationship with the holidays. I love hanging out with the family, eating turkey dinner, and watching my nieces’ and nephews’ faces light up when they open their presents. I dislike having to choose which family we spend our vacation time with–my husband’s family in the sunny Dominican Republic or mine in snowy Calgary. Either way I end up feeling guilty about my decision. So this Christmas, we’re staying home. And to help Toronto feel more festive, we’re decorating our house with plump snowmen, pine-cone wreaths, a miniature fabric tree, and a candy-cane smelling Agraria White Mint Perfume Candle ($43, agrariahome.com). It’s the right choice. It’s also beginning to smell a lot like Christmas in our house and that feels like a very good thing.
