First, start with a primer like Rimmel’s Primer Fix and Perfect ($9, at drugstores), which has a bit of a peachy tinge but blends seamlessly. Giving you a nice, soft finish, the primer is going to help hold onto your foundation all day and act as a barrier to the oils that you produce, as well as brightening your complexion.
Then with Match Perfection foundation in “True Ivory” ($11, at drugstores), start in the middle of the face and blend and work your way out. Never forget to pull foundation past the jaw line and down onto the neck. Kate has a flawless complexion, so when you start with the primer and apply the powder over top, everything blends right out for a finished, even look.
