Using Match Perfection foundation again as a base over eyes neutralizes the eye palette and evens out skin tone. The area around the eyes is the thinnest skin on our faces, so a lot of veins and redness come out.
In Glam’Eyes quad eyeshadow in “Sun Safari” ($8, at drugstores) there are plum, peach, and brown shades that work with Kate’s typically neutral palette. Using a crease brush, go over the upper part of the eyelid and blend it into the crease. You can use your finger to make sure edges are nice and soft. A trick with eyeshadow is making sure you layer and blend. The denser the brush, the more payoff you’re going to get with your colour. The softer the brush, the more of a water-washed look you get.
