The diagonal manicure is great for hiding huge chips (usually the kind that you’ve peeled off yourself, tsk tsk) and also a fun way to try out the colour blocking trend on your nails. We promise that it looks harder to do than it actually is. Create the diagonal swipe by starting at the lower outer side of your nail, dragging the brush across and up as you paint. Start off small—that way if your line becomes shaky, you can paint over the blemish and try again without having to redo your base coat.
