As soon as I got to the last step of this manicure, I realized it should have been my first. The white trim was an incredibly ambitious way to finish off this design (especially after my second coffee of the day!) and I could have achieved the same look by doing a white base coat and slim silhouette-style painting the rest of the pattern on top. However, paint and learn! When creating this floral pattern, I started with the green and built the design up from there using a tiny nail art brush and a dotting tool. Because I was emulating Gagnon’s print, I focused on keeping the same balance of colours across each nail: a lot of green, a hint of violet-blue, and punchy pops of pink and red.
