Growing up in Alberta, Beau Nelson pored over fashion magazines and episodes of Fashion Television. On a trip to Toronto, he met Jay Manuel, a makeup artist for Iman cosmetics, and the two bonded over beauty. Years later, Nelson’s portfolio made it into Manuel’s hands, securing him a spot as a makeup artist on season two of Canada’s Next Top Model and, subsequently, the role of Kristen Stewart’s red carpet go-to. He’s also the creative director for Beauté, a collection of lip colours and brushes.
