Saskatoon: Style on the green

Classic Allure vest by Lija, $69
Lately, I’ve been hitting the golf course and though I’m no Tiger Woods, while I’m chipping, putting and slicing away (I have a knack for getting into the sand traps), I am definitely the best dressed.
There’s an ever-growing selection of women’s golf clothing, so it’s quite easy to stay on par with fashion while I’m on the course. In fact, I’ve been able to find everything I need to deck myself out on the green at Golf Town (110-3015 Clarence Ave. S., 306-652-4571, golftown.com). My favourite find is the slick and sophisticated Vancouver-based sportswear line Lija (lijastyle.com). You’ll also find stylish gloves, visors, vests and golf shoes–so you don’t need fancy clubs to get noticed. Hopefully my score card will soon be as impressive as my outfits!
