An early summer getaway landed me in the beautiful west coast of Canada.  The combination of Vancouver’s lush landscape and warm breeze caused me to swirl into an uncontrolled shopping frenzy. Give me a little warm weather and some sun, and this girl’s gotta shop.

Among my many successful purchases was a pair of Laurentian Chief Moccasins found at Hills Native Art (165 Water St., 604-685-4249, hillsnativeart.com) in Gastown. The store specializes in Native art and jewellery and deep in the back is a wide assortment of moccasin booties and slippers at very affordable prices. For just $50, I picked up this cute little pair–perfect for dresses or cut-offs.  I can never say no to comfort and style.

    Hey Sarah,

Moccasins you found in gastown are cute but… to be honest a little old already. Girls have been wearing them here in Van. and else were in the world maybe not the Peg… since July 2007.
