There will be plaid: Burberry to open two more Canadian shops

Burberry (burberry.com) opens their second Canadian store, at Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre, today. A third location has been announced and will open on Bloor Street in October. (Those lucky duck Vancouverites got the first one late last year.) While the haute Prorsum runway collection won’t be available, the more affordable (relatively) Burberry London line will. This range of wardrobe staples includes office-perfect dresses and suits; cardies, capes and cropped skinnies for fall weekends in the Lake District (or, you know, Trinity-Bellwoods); and a plethora of trenches, pea coats, puffas and capes. You’ll also be able to pick some highly covetable shoes and bags as well as the branding trifecta of watches, eyewear and fragrances.

Sorta reminds me of Johnny depp for some reason? anyone else?
I don’t know about that, but in the shot with the newsboy cap she’s got a bit of a Vanessa Paradis vibe going.
Sorry guys think you may have got it wrong:
The 6,000 square foot store, located at 1 Yorkdale Road in Toronto will open on 7 August 2009.
Burberry has recently announced the opening of a second store in Toronto, scheduled to open in Bloor St. in October 2009. The first Burberry store in Canada opened in Vancouver in 2008.
Oops. You are correct. I conflated the two stores. The post is fixed above.
