Video: Erdem Spring 2010
“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” So says Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada. Even for Erdem himself, florals are nothing new. And yet, when a designer consistently does flowers as beautifully as Moralioglu, it’s hard to complain. On his clothes, they always look fresh in vibrant colours or the intricate, near 3-D embroidery of the opening look. A column dress in a black and white floral print was simple and stunning. Lace is another regular in Erdem’s collections, this time appearing in white covering a belted trench and black overlaying vivid blues and corals. [YouTube]
