The September Issue will screen during Toronto Fashion Week!
FINALLY! Toronto documentary series Doc Soup will host the Canadian premiere of The September Issue on Wednesday, October 21–during Toronto’s LG Fashion Week. If you need reminding, the film follows Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington et al, as they put together the September 2007 issue of Vogue. Showtimes are troublesome for those of us who will be ensconced at the tents–6:30 and 9:15 p.m. (same time at the Joe Fresh show. Argh!) at the Bloor Cinema. Director RJ Cutler will Skype a Q&A after the screening.
Get your ticket in advance for $12 at hotdocs.ca. Tickets will also be available at the door (if you’re lucky) and at 5:30, some free passes will be available students for the 9:15 show–first come, first served, natch.
