Morning sickness didn’t stop a very pregnant Jourdan Dunn from walking the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier. The glowing model wore a padded cone bra with matching maternity plate, looking like a Roman soldier in her first catwalk appearance at the spring shows. [Fashionologie]
Heidi Klum is changing her last name to match her husband’s. Seal may be known to us solely by his first name, but the singer’s entire name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adelo Samuel. Heidi is opting for Samuel as her new surname. We don’t love it as much as Klum, but as long as she doesn’t change her killer legs, we’ll just have to deal. [TMZ, via Jezebel]
The higher-ups in the Italian fashion industry are in the talks on moving fashion week from Milan to the cultural hub of Rome. With the city expanding its transportation between the airport and central city, the possibility is there, but most see the move as unlikely with Milan boasting a high concentration of designer showrooms. Now every man can channel the dapper Don Draper in his wardrobe. Brooks Brothers has announced Mad Men’s costume director Janie Bryant will work with the brand to create a collection of suits inspired by the sleek 1960s fit prominent on the show. The limited availability–only 250–will send shoppers to 10 Brooks Brothers stores and brooksbrothers.com on October 19 to snatch them up. [WWD]
The ever-expanding Jimmy Choo brand has signed on for a fragrance collection. The deal will see the luxury brand concocting perfume for the next 12 years. Founder and President Tamara Mellon said, “It has always been my vision to fully accessorize the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe.” [Yahoo!]
Marc Jacobs claims the reality show rumours are just that. Sadly, we won’t get an insider look at the inner workings of the designer–at least not yet. Fingers crossed for future. [Cityfile]
