Vogue’s European Editor at Large Hamish Bowles spent some time roughing it in the country, reluctantly prepping a piece for Vogue’s environment issue. The fashion journalist ate what he thought was bear feces–but turned out to be only dates–a prank concocted by Hamish’s scout leader. [Vogue]
Woody Allen’s latest muse is Adriana Lima, whom Allen is said to be writing into his next screenplay. Model chum Agyness Deyn has also caught the acting bug; she’ll be appearing in Peter McGough’s upcoming short film. But can these pretty faces transfer their talent to the big screen? Oprah has opened a store in Chicago to sell her old stock. While shopping in your friend’s closet is trendy these days, the big O’s spin on it is rather bizarre. Shoppers aren’t permitted to try on any garments in order to “ensure that Oprah was the last person to wear them.” Anyone out there desperate to bask in Oprah’s sweaty, unwashed clothes? Angelina Jolie is rumoured to be the leading lady in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gucci film. Jolie would play Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife Patrizia Reggiano, who was convicted for conspiring to murder her husband, while Leonardo DiCaprio may have snagged the part of the late designer. [The Cut]
