Giorgio Armani has been hinting at retirement. We missed this last week while in Fashion Week mode: Isaac Mizrahi threw out some excellent quotes during a panel discussion hosted by Glamour last week. A sample quote on using curvy models: “I remember when I booked girls that weren’t obese but…they were real girls. There was one who was a stripper. And you could feel the energy in the room just go down. You could feel the energy, just going, ‘No, I’m sorry.’ Closed books. Pens went down. They were angry. And I never did it again, because I thought, why rile these women? It takes a lot to rile a woman. It takes actual breasts…but when they’re implants, they’re perfectly fine.” [WSJ]
