Will someone please give Claudia Schiffer a clothing line?

Claudia Schiffer wants to become a designer. “I’ve been in this business for so long and developed my name globally, but I have no product to show for it. And I would love to develop it now,” she said yesterday at the IHT TechnoLuxury conference in Berlin. Schiffer expressed interest in affordable cashmere, because it’s “classic” and she “wears it all the time.”
Is anyone out there listening? With all the C-list celebs throwing their names on labels these days, someone should be jumping at the idea that an actual fashion icon, one who’s still working as a supermodel after 21 years in the biz and always looks impeccably chic, wants to lend her name to a collection.
