Jewellery is coming to couture week

A piece from Dior Joallerie
Clever, clever, Fédération Francaise de la Couture. It’s now going to be so much easier to shop for jewels when you’re already going to be in Paris for Haute Couture week! The Fédération, which organizes the shows, has just announced that jewellery makers Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel Joaillerie, Chaumet, Christian Dior Joaillerie, Mellerio dits Meller and Van Cleef & Arpels will show on January 28, (private appointments only, of course). Jewellery is always a huge part of the collections, but this is the first time in couture’s history that it’s been given a dedicated spot on the schedule. [Telegraph]
