The seamstress who sued Chanel for breach of contract, Carmen Colle, has had her case thrown out after standing in front of a French court. The judge awarded her $583,960 for the orders Chanel cancelled. “It’s a victory for us because the court has recognized that suppliers and artisans are not disposable,” Colle told The Wall Street Journal.
