Ungaro CEO resigns–how much longer can Lindsay Lohan last?

Photography by Peter Stigter
Lindsay Lohan’s greatest, and perhaps only, fashion supporter, Emanuel Ungaro CEO Mounir Moufarrige, has resigned from his post at the house. Lohan is staying on, though who knows for how long: The Spring 2010 runway show, complete with tube tops and nipple pasties, was roundly trounced by critics and reports indicate that retailers didn’t like it much either. All that and, Page Six reported last month that Ungaro chairman Asim Abdullah “wants her out now.” Moufarriage will remain on the company’s strategic committee, but who knows his clout will still be strong enough to stem the flood of dissent.
