Edmoure Ralph’s brass jewellery adds vintage-inspired sparkle

Sequins are the de facto sparklers for holiday dressing, but we recently discovered another option: brass. Designers Julie Brown and Julie Piotrowski have created a line of vintage-inspired brass jewellery that will add the desired shimmer to party outfits, but not look garish when you wear it to the office in January. Brown and Piotrowski, who named their recently-launched line Edmoure Ralph after their grandfathers, were drawn to the metal “primarily because of its inherent vintage look. It has a matte finish and a natural worn-in quality which really appeals to our design sensibility.” The on-trend pieces incorporate brass chains in different sizes, styles and finishes layered with pearls, stones and charms. Our favourite is the diamond-cut brass, which catches the light for a just right-amount of sparkle.
Edmoure Ralph is available at Liv by Au Lit (418 Eglinton Ave. W., 416-481-2300, livbyaulit.com) in Toronto and online at edmoureralph.com.
