Fashion news: Tony Blair goes luxe, cavewoman beauty and Michael Kors, video game hero

Our gamer prayers have been answered: A video game based on Project Runway launches March 2. According to WWD, Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum and Michael Kors “don’t carry Uzis, kill monsters or zoom along city streets in souped-up hot rods, ” but that would be amazing! [WWD]

Tony Blair turns from politics to luxury goods. Although not yet confirmed, a source has revealed that Mr. Blair is wrapping up a deal with LVMH to work in an advisory role for the world’s largest luxury goods firm. [Grazia]

The British Fashion Council released the nominees this morning for the first-ever BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. Nominees include Christopher Kane, footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood, Richard Nicoll and Canadian designer Erdem. [Fashionista]

Rumour has it that Alex Watson will be making the jump from print to runway. After appearing in ad campaigns with sister Emma for Burberry, Watson the younger is supposedly set to hit the label’s runway at London Fashion Week next month. [Fashionista]

Martin Margiela, who recently stepped down from the maison he built, has designed a suite at luxe Bordeaux hotel Les Sources de Caudalie. For 650 euros a night, you can book the stark white and grey L’île aux Oiseaux, which is built over a pond and contains surreal Margiela touches like a pillow headboard and lip-shaped sofa.
