Put on your earphones and listen to the biographical ballads of Yves Saint Laurent. French singer and composer Alain Chamfort has recorded an album, Une Vie Saint Laurent with songs about the designer’s life. [W]

Olivier Theyskens is enjoying his life outside of a fashion house and offers some philosophical advice: “I’m doing a lot of things. I’m not somebody who absolutely needs to draw and create . . . Hermès opened it’s first menswear-only store this week in Manhattan, and Coach has announced plans to launch a men’s boutique in May. With women turning to menswear for their wardrobes, and men wearing leggings (believe it: we saw said meggings just yesterday at the H&M showroom), we wonder who exactly will end up shopping at the stores.     Meggings aren’t so new. You used to be able to order them from the International Male catalogue.
