It turns out that it wasn’t designers who were up in arms over Anna Wintour missing their shows at Milan fashion week, but Wintour herself. The fashion legend reportedly asked that the fashion week be shortened to three days so that she could attend all the shows, causing a stir in the Italian fashion world. The city’s mayor made a statement, saying: “Nobody, not even if her name is Anna Wintour, can take the liberty to do and undo our fashion calendar.” [WWD]

Chances are you are twittered out by Robert Duffy, so here’s some good news: After he posted a picture of a near-naked man apparently pole-dancing at Marc Jacobs’ after-party on Monday night, the label’s president has officially deleted his Twitter account. The question is: How long can Duffy last without it? [Huffington Post]
Spotted: CEO of LVMH’s fashion division, Pierre-Yves Roussel. Known as the talent spotter for the luxury group, Roussel’s attendance at the Mulleavy sisters’ Rodarte show has the rumour mill churning that the label may be bought by LVMH. [Grazia]
